visit family while infected. tonight, several of his own family members are being quarantined altogether in one apartment ordering them not to leave. now, there is word of another american infected while working in liberia. this time the patient is a journalist. "action news" reporter sharee williams takes it from. there she's following the big story live from the satellite center, sharee. >> shirleen, this journalist is a free lance photographer from "nbc news". "nbc news" saying he's been in liberia several years and as of recently covering ebola outbreak. this journalist saying he began to feel ill yesterday and had a fever and today went to the hospital and was indeed confirmed to have the deadly vie rouse. nbc news saying there are plans to fly the 33-year-old from liberia back to the states to receive treatment for this virus. meanwhile, back to the first patient who was diagnosed in the

u.s.. he is very ill tonight. and also, possibly facing charges from his home country of liberia. >> ebola patient thomas dunk anyone serious condition that according to family in north carolina that spoke out today. >> we just hope and pray that eric survives the night and we just got our hopes up for him. and we just hope he gets the necessary treatment he needs. >> he remains isolated at a dallas hospital. cdc says the parent may have had contact with at least 100 people including ambulance and hospital staff, friends and family including five children dunkin is related to. and none have symptoms. but they are being monitored. meanwhile, health officials in texas decided to power wash the apartment complex where dunkin visited family and four members were ordered to stay inside with no visitors for 21 days. dunkin is believed to have contracted the deadly virus here at the lie bearian house from a

pregnant woman infected. he later flew from liberia september 19 through brussels before making it to u.s. soil in washington d.c. and landed in dallas september 20. days later he felt ill and wept to the hospital. but he was given antibiotics and september home even though he told the nurse he had come in from the hot zone in liberia. >> regretfully that information was not fully communicated throughout the full team. >> now liberian authorities plan to prosecute dunkin because he allegedly lied on a travel questionnaire before leaving liberia. they say they did not tell the truth about his exposure to ebola when asked. >> in a way he put americans in a state of fear and put them at some risks i feel saddened by that and angry with him. >> so some strong words from the president of liberia tonight. meanwhile there's word local liberian community in the

numbers. customers who use chase.com, jp morgan on-line, chase mobile or jp morgan mobile are affected. the company is telling bank customers there's no need to change their passwords or account information. 7 million small businesses are also affected by the breach. in other news a stabbing is under investigation. the powellton section of philadelphia one man is dead and a child was in the home during the murder. "action news" reporter annie mccormick is following the story live tonight. any. >> reporter: and shirleen, this is a violent struggle that left one man dead. the homeowner in custody, and a 3-year-old boy slept through the entire things and tonight he's safe with police. homicide detectives on the scene in the 3200 block of summer street where police say a man violently stabbed another man inside the kitchen of this home. a jarring call came into 911.

>> just after 7:30 p.m., 16th district police responded to report of a person screaming and person with a weapon. >> reporter: police describe a gruesome scene that spread through several rooms ending in kitchen. >> they found a 57-year-old male stabbed multiple times, head, neck, chest, as well as extremities. >> witnesses told police the 59-year-old home owner was responsible and he surrendered to police. police say the 57-year-old victim and suspect were acquittances. this 3-year-old boy was sleeping through the violent fight. police took the child and two female witnesses to homicide and all were unharmed. upstairs police diskvrd a 6 to 8" knife covered in blood and took it in as evidence. and back out here live you can see the crime scene unit is out here looking for more evidence in this case. and at this point there is no clear motive in this case. possibly an argument. but no idea what sparked that
